Charity Fun for the RNLI

The final count is in and we raised a total of £1471.63 at our Charity Fundraiser for the RNLI on August 6th!

The RNLI is the charity that provides a 24-hour lifesaving service around the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The volunteer crews give up their time and comfort to carry out rescues in difficult and often dangerous conditions.
The RNLI aims to save lives by changing attitudes and behaviour among people who use the sea regularly.
RNLI lifeguards patrol more than 100 beaches in the UK in peak season and assisted almost 10,000 people last year.
Last year RNLI lifeboats rescued almost 8,000 people, an average of 21 people a day.

And in exchange for our efforts, the lads from the RNLI decided to take us on a tour on one of their lifeboats in Plymouth!

To show them your support, why not check the RNLI at http://www.rnli.org.uk/

Thanks again to all who came along and showed their support for such a worthy cause and we hope to see you again next time!
